Sonya Jadersten

Hotel Diplomat invite you to the exhibition ”Mysteries” by Sonya Campos Jadersten. The exhibition is on display from the 12th of May, until the 15th of August 2022 in The Gallery at the Hotel Diplomat.

Looking at the desert, the artist sees the shapes of the female bodies, with delicate, vibrant and monochromatic colors, demonstrating an atmosphere of silence, respect, desires, lights, shadows and mysteries. The Desert with its warm and seductive mist, reminds us of desires and romances.

About Sonya Campos Jadersten
The visual artist Sonya Campos Jadersten is Brazilian, with European roots from southern Brazil. Sonya is a self-taught artist from a very young age, she studied in São Paulo-Brazil: drawing, painting, art history, photography, school of fine arts, performing arts, pedagogy, marketing and journalism. She lived with her husband between Abu Dhabi and Paris and also attended the Arts Workshop at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. In Paris she deepened her studies and participates in Ateliers and workshops at the Louvre, at the “Académie la Grande Chaumière” and studied French at the Alliance Française. In France, the artist set up her “Atelier” and participated in the Vernissage at Carrousel du Louvre – Paris – with her oil on canvas work “Baianas”.
The sensitive look at the “beautiful” made her realize and admire more intensely the shapes and colors, in addition to drawing and painting the artist started to perfect herself in the art of photography, her works are true works of art because she uses cotton paper, fine art and frame with acid free foam board, making your photography an eternal work of art. She currently lives between France and Brazil, where she also has a sunny Atelier, further improving her artistic “know-how” in Paris, visiting museums, exhibitions, Vernissages, contributing to enrich her knowledge of art, culture, history, design and photography.
