WORLD CHILDHOOD FOUNDATION

World Childhood Foundation was founded in 1999 by H.M. Queen Silvia. Childhood works to prevent abuse and exploitation of children, by supporting over 100 global projects, assisting children who are at risk of, or are victims of abuse, children in alternative care, homeless children, and families at risk. Childhood’s mission is that no child should be exposed to a violent or damaging environment, but instead have the opportunity to grow up with memories of a safe and loving childhood.

Hotel Diplomat supports the World Childhood Foundation in the following ways:

“Charity Dish” – Order meatballs on the menu, and 20 kr is donated to Childhood.

“Round Up” – Upon check-out you can choose to round up your bill. The selected amount is then donated to Childhood.

The Childhood bracelet – We promote and sell the Childhood bracelet in our gift shop.

SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Support us in our mission to prevent violence and sexual abuse of children and donate a selected amount by swish to WCF number 90 900 36, or scan the QR code below using the Swish app on your mobile phone. Label your Swish donation “Hotel Diplomat”, the selected amount is donated directly to World Childhood Forundation. Together, we give more children a safe upbringing free from sexual abuse.
