– October 12
This year, Anton Corbijn celebrates a double anniversary: his 70th birthday and half a century as an artist. A creative polymath in photography, music videos, and feature films, Corbijn has left an indelible mark on contemporary culture. With his distinctive visual language, he has captured some of the most influential musicians, artists, and directors of our time, from Depeche Mode and U2 to Ai Weiwei and Gerhard Richter.
The exhibition at Fotografiska Stockholm brings together highlights from an extraordinary fifty-year career, showcasing why Corbijn is regarded as one of the world’s most significant photographers.
From Hotel Diplomat, Fotografiska is just a beautiful stroll along Nybroviken, the perfect way to spend an afternoon immersed in art, music, and inspiration.
