Past exhibition: Christopher Dolhem 9 January, 2020 by February 8th until April 24th. The exhibition’s title on light and darkness is inspired by a quote from the father of analytical psychology Carl Gustav Jung. As the subject is photography, the title rounds up the photos in a highly concrete way; photography really means writing with light. It is the game between light and dark that causes the motive to emerge. “There is no light without shadow and no psychic wholeness without imperfection. To round itself out, life calls not for perfection but for completeness; and for this the “thorn in the flesh” is needed, the suffering of defects without which there is no progress and no ascent. – C. G. Jung
@Diplomat Abstrakt 4 April, 2018 by April 11 – April 15 We are proud to present Galleri Charlotte Lund’s exhibition @Diplomat Abstakt, by Patrik Aarnivaara and Marcus Eek, during Stockholm Art Week . Both of the artists grasp the concept of abstraction from different angles and in different materials. The result is paintings and sculptures expressing playfulness within sharp limits. Marcus Eek works with acrylic and oil, completely focused on abstract painting inspired by light, material and balance. Patrik Aarnivaara creates sculptures and works with photography and video. The new sculptures are made of plastic, brass and metal and the mind of measuring instruments. The exhibition is on view in our Lounge 11-15 April
Johanna Wulff 3 November, 2015 by FORTSÄTTARNA Swedish photographer Johanna Wulff has spent the last three years portraying working artists who haven’t retired from their endeavours despite reaching the age of 80. Her idea is that artists are driven by their creativity and would rather die than give up their work. Fascinating and touching art. The exhibition Fortsättarna is on display November 26 – January 6 2016
